Versio engaged by Jamestown Family Health Clinic for Epic EHR Rollout

    by  Versio Staff

As a part of the Providence Health & Services Community Connect program, the Jamestown Family Health Clinic in Sequim, WA, will be transitioning to the Epic EHR to better share patient data among regional healthcare providers. Jamestown will partner with Olympic Medical Center, the nearest hospital to the clinic.

Versio was engaged by the clinic to migrate critical patient data into the new system during their implementation. Medications, allergies, and problems are examples of critical data sets that will be migrated into Epic. Versio’s history of producing complete and accurate records has supported Providence’s own Epic deployments over the last three years. “Most migration companies cannot capture all of the data, nor can they accurately reflect the patient story. That is not acceptable in healthcare, so Versio found a better way.” said Versio’s CEO Lisa Pike. “The patients represented in medical records are our families, neighbors, and colleagues. We believe everyone deserves a complete and totally accurate health record. We are very proud to have been chosen as a partner in this important project.”

About Versio: The Renton firm has been at the forefront of quality healthcare documentation since it was established as ScribeRight Transcription Agency in 2000, and it continues to meet the dynamic needs of the industry today. The company has adopted the new name Versio to reflect the company’s expanded service offerings. Medical data are full of inconsistencies that make it hard for conventional technology to convert it accurately. The Versio program utilizes a unique suite of technologies and processes, combined with detailed human review in the form of knowledgeable and experienced medical data translation specialists. This hybrid approach forms an extra layer of quality control, providing clients with results that are unmatched in the industry. The process can also be applied to paper medical records.

About Jamestown Family Health: The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe operates the clinic in Sequim to provide primary health care services to Tribal citizens and non-tribal community members seeking quality care. Tribal citizens are the priority population for services and are encouraged to receive services through the clinic.
