Versio by ScribeRight Honored as The Second-Fastest Growing Company on the Eastside

    by  Versio Staff

    For Immediate Release

On June 18, 2013 Versio by ScribeRight was honored by the Puget Sound Business Journal as the second-fastest growing company on the Eastside. The awards event honored 50 local companies, many of which are in the technology sector.

Established in as ScribeRight Transcription Agency in 2000, the Renton company, which is in the process of rebranding itself as Versio by ScribeRight, grew from a one-woman home office into a million-dollar business within three years.

"This is what happens when you take good care of your customers," says CEO Lisa Pike. Versio by ScribeRight grew up as a medical transcription company recognized in the industry for accuracy and attention to detail. It was when Pike was tapped by an executive from Providence Health and Services that the Electronic Health Record data migration service line was born. "That project was the launch pad for the rapid growth we’ve had the last couple of years," Pike said. "There’s huge need (for data translation) because it’s difficult, costly and no other method can produce the near-perfect quality that patient records demand. Our tag line is, 'no data left behind.'" Rather than refer to the service as data migration, Pike prefers the term data translation because, "we translate the meaning of the patient record for best use in patient care."

Medical data are full of exceptions that make it hard for conventional technology to convert it accurately. The Versio program utilizes a suite of proprietary technologies, processes, and industry best practices. Combining the technology with a human element in the form of knowledgeable and experienced medical data translation specialists provides an extra layer of quality control for results unmatched in the industry.
